Are You Willing to Make Progress on Your Most Creative Work?

If so, read on for something that can help you.

Your Most Creative Work is that which is important to you, yet it magically gets squeezed behind other priorities in life.

This workshop structured around pods is designed to help you focus and start making progress on the projects that matter most to you.

The Project Lab is a facility that engineers success. Because if you put in the time towards your goals, they will get done. Put in the work first, and worry about the outcomes later.

This is a live session to help you sit down and put some time into your Most Creative Work.

The Structure

  • You join a “pod” in which you commit to meeting once a week for four weeks on a Zoom call.
  • In the weekly session you work with prompts to help you share how the project is going, in addition to a coworking session which will help you plow through any tasks that have been lagging behind.
  • When the pod is done, we can arrange to renew at the same time, you can take a break, or join a new pod at a different time. Our schedules and moods change every month so the goal is to create a flexible environment.

What People Say About It:

The Most Creative Project Lab allowed me to schedule and prioritize creative and administrative work for my art practice. I came to the lab after procrastinating for months on a new artist statement for a recent collection of work, and I left the 1.5-hour session with 1550 words of usable content and a renewed sense of commitment.

Theresa Slater

It seems like a simple idea, setting aside an hour to work on my writing project, but left to my own devices I will find a million reasons not to do it. That’s why the Project Lab Session is so useful—not only for carving out time but even more important, for gathering in community with other creatives diving into the complex, magical unknown. There’s a synergistic wave we ride together when we are intentional about our Most Creative Work.

Lisa Mecham

This is great for people who are stuck and need to get some momentum under their belt.

You can use this session for:

  • Writing a book or screenplay
  • Composing music or practising your instrument
  • Writing a business plan or applying to funding for a major project
  • Developing a business and doing the marketing for it
  • Applying to a new job that will support your creative goals

Pricing

A pod costs $30 USD which covers the four sessions. This payment is really the hook that keeps you accountable to show up. You can either pay in a one-off increment, or start a subscription to renew automatically for future pods.

Upcoming Pods

Calypso-43 will run for four weeks in May, starting on Tuesday, May 7th.
