Here are ten ways to work on yourself that don’t involve seeking likes on social or fame outside of your own internal states:
1. Read non-fiction that fits with your topic of interest
2. Write (journal using the Morning Pages method)
3. Start interesting side-projects
4. Take up a new language or learn coding
5. Review high school subjects that gave you difficulty (math, chemistry)
6. Join Toastmasters or other group programs to improve public speaking
7. Grab coffee/zoom chat with new people even if you’re introverted and prefer to not
8. Take music lessons – even one or two a month would give you enough homework for a busy schedule
9. Try a group fitness class which gives you the benefit of working with a trainer
10. Walk regardless of the weather conditions.
